Humbling Moments

So every once in a while I have what I call a "blah day."  It's starts and ends with no motivation to get anything done, and I'm usually a little more quick to get frustrated with my kiddos and snap at them for the little things that kids do.  Needless to say, I was having a "blah day" and had barely made it until Jason got home from work and through dinner.  The kids asked for a treat, so I was more than ready to hand them a popsicle/otterpop and send them outside.  As I was doing the dishes (I actually like doing dishes)  This is the view I had out my back door -
My heart melted a little bit as I watched my four beautiful kiddos sit together on this bench enjoying their treat.  I have to confess that I did say a little prayer apologizing to the Lord for my weaknesses of the day and thanked Him wholeheartedly for these four spirits (and one more little spirit to come) of His that I'm blessed to raise here on earth. It's amazing how quick my whole attitude of the day completely changed and that in this small little moment my perspective changed from my "blah day" to one that encompassed eternity.  I am so blessed to get to be a part of their lives and am grateful and humbled that the Lord trusts me enough to help be responsible for them.

Then I got closer and these are some of their faces.

And some more random pictures of the kids while we're patiently waiting for  summer time and
Addie Jane to get here.
Jason managed to get one or two pictures of his boys at Father and Sons camp out with the ward.

And Jack, having some deep thought dreams.

Danny, my official "foodie" this is his favorite spot so he can always see if there's something new to eat.

Jack and Kimball enjoying block time, and Jack building one of his new castles.
